Course requirements and grading

Grade distribution

💻	Quizzes 50 %	Weekly, worst two won't be counted.
🤝	Final project 50 %	Presented and submitted in groups in week 7.

Grading

Weekly homework and quizzes (50\%), Final Project (50\%).

Each week (after the first) will have a short quiz to evaluate the concepts covered in class. The two worst outcomes won’t be counted towards the final grade.
The final project will be submitted in groups and will require the implementation and solution of an integer programming instance using quantum computing resources. This final project deliverable is a report and a presentation.

Course policy

Auditing students are encouraged to participate actively in the lectures.
Regular attendance is essential and expected.

Lack of knowledge of the academic honesty policy is not a reasonable explanation for a violation. Any form of plagiarism can earn you a failing grade for the entire course.
